Abstract:
    A continuous glucose monitoring device that will detect the blood glucose concentration without the active involvement of patient. Near infra-red rays will be emitted on the targeted area that could be the wrist or finger to extract the blood glucose information. Data will be processed and will be displayed on the mobile application.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    The non-invasive device continually monitors the blood glucose levels with a reasonable cost. An illiterate individual might use this device at any moment to monitor his blood glucose levels. Furthermore, physician can access the data in order to prescribe the appropriate medication.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   Device can be used by anyone; however, it should be used by someone who has severe diabetes and does not want to prick his finger many times each day. So that he can keep the record of blood glucose level. Moreover, mobile application will keep the trends of glucose levels of previous 8 hours.
How will the solution works
    Near-Infrared spectroscopy will be used to assess the blood glucose level as it's rays will be emitted on the wrist/finger. Data will be collected based upon the reflection and absorption of radiation patterns. Then data is transmitted to the mobile app by using BLE connection. Triad infra-red spectroscopy sensor will be employed, which comprises on both emitter and receiver. Once acquired, all raw data will be educated using the appropriate machine learning approach.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    In Pakistan, non-invasive product has not been launched yet. Such devices are available worldwide, however, the major concern is their hefty cost and accuracy. The plus point of this device is mobile application that prompt greater number of patients to buy this product.
