| Abstract: |
| Our project is a research base project that prevents Students from cheating during examination. Machine Learning algorithms and Open Source Computer Vision Library for detecting Student’s unusual behavior through camera is used in the project. Eliminating cheating from our culture with the help of AI helping in conducting fair exams and providing a Low Cost Solution of Invigilation. |
| What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
| Our Educational System is in a devastating position because of cheating culture. Our Idea will eradicate this culture from our education system helping in fair examination and results of them as cheating makes students less motivated and they opt for unfair means to get out of that situation. |
| Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
| Educational Institutions are in dire need of our product as cheating is a major issue during examination, our product will also cut cost spend on hiring invigilators of institutions as our product is less expensive and is an one time investment providing better efficiency in proctoring. |
| How will the solution works |
| A camera installed in every class will monitor students and live stream it to the admin who will have all the control, camera will detect any unusual behavior of Students i.e. Gesture Detection with the help of Mediapipe. Students face will be recognized and with that recognized face relevant information of that Student will be fetched from the database and a notification will be generated on Admin’s device which will include Student’s information and the Image captured of them during cheating. |
| Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different |
| There aren't actually any competitors as our Idea is Noble as we focus on Physical Examination and all the applications developed on AI based proctoring system are on Online Examinations. Our Idea is less Expensive and it can be implemented in any Educational Institution providing better accuracy. |
