Autonomy in machines is the thing that is turning into reality. Autonomy in robots can be used to
make an autonomous robot that will do the disinfecting jobs with accuracy without causing any health
issues. Since there will be no direct involvement of human beings, this will prevent asthma and
other respiratory diseases. |
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
Disinfection is a task that is done on a daily basis in institutions and in the home. The chemicals used for disinfection are hazardous to the respiratory system of humans. A robot that will do this job will prevent this chemical from having any bad effect on humans. |
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
A lot of people who do disinfection tasks by wearing safety equipment will benefit from it. |
How will the solution works |
It will be an autonomous disinfecting robot having an atomizer and a solution tank for disinfection. the servo motor will act as a pump for the automizer to spray the solution. Ultrasonic Sensors will help in avoiding obstacles for a specific distance. The robot will be a differential derived with two motors for deriving the robot. Raspberry pi will be the microcontroller of a robot. Standard wheels (four) will be used for translation and rotation. |
