Cheap lab based liquid handling robot for different bio-sample preparation at Biomedical Labs in NUST, RCMS. General purpose infectious disease PCR tests for rapid testing and quarantining measures to contain the spread of lethal contagion. | |

How will the solution works | |
A cnc based 5 degree of freedom robot with a variable-volume pippette attached to its end effector which is used for pippetting and dispensing fluids based on PCR sample preparing steps. We are developing customised G-codes firmware guided by an interactive GUI. The overall setup is supervised by a machine learning based camera setup which ensures the sample preparation steps are followed in correct order. | |

We are utilizing open source components to manufacture the hardware and coding on atmega/stm32 based microcontrollers featuring open source IDE's.
