Abstract:
    Use Arduino and simple electrical circuits to make any regular shower equipped with automatic water mixing system at affordable costs. It will mix hot and cold water at temperature that is specified by the user.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    It is an efficient time-saving and hazardless water outlet. Firstly, it will reduce the manual control of water inlets (which otherwise takes a minute) and saves the water to overflow and waste. Secondly, it will reduce the hazardous impacts of a sudden hot water intake causing burns.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   It is a need of people which want an efficient time-saving and safe water outlet.
How will the solution works
    Solenoid valves will be used to control the flow of water through the shower. An Arduino will be used to control the solenoid values attached to the inputs and outputs of the system. It will take input settings of temperature from the user using a keypad/dial. Calculations will be made in the Arduino to adjust the solenoid valves. As a safety measure, a thermistor (temperature sensor) will be used as a feedback to adjust the flow rate of hot and cold water flowing in the system.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    Currently, there are many competitors internationally including Chinese companies. Our project will be very inexpensive because we will use simple sensors, controllers instead of a luxurious setup. Plus it will be very portable making it easy to attach it to plumbing thus, increasing efficiency.
