Abstract:
    Variable Rate Sprayer for Agricultural drone is a device that involves spraying pesticide automatically in the fields without any human intervention. It involves precision spraying and it resolves the problem of spraying at unwanted sites. The sprayer will work on image recognition technology that will be connected to our spraying mechanism for spraying at different rates on different crops
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    We need a system for fast and efficient crop protection. Unprotected use of pesticides not only affects farmers' and consumers' health but also decreases crop yields. Our device will resolve all these issues. In addition to this, we will provide an indigenous and economical solution.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   The farmer is our first and foremost beneficiary. Our device will stop farmers' direct intervention with harmful pesticides. Pakistan's agriculture needs rapid crop growth. Our system will provide efficient pesticide spraying, increase crop yield and decrease agricultural waste.
How will the solution works
    Our device consists of a Pesticide spray tank mounted on the agricultural drone (DJI F550). the drone will spray pesticide using a control system inter-connected between our sprayer and drone. Our sprayer will use multiple nozzle flow pressurized by a pump. The mechanical valves will be used to control the flow of fluid in the nozzles.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    Although there are some organizations, they are providing expensive services and our system will work more efficiently and will be more economical than our competitors.
