Abstract:
    Variable Rate Fertilizer Spreader for a drone is a device that is capable of spreading fertilizer at a variable rate, in different quantities for crops. It is compatible with the drone and not only saves time but reduces fertilizer wastage, manpower, enabling ideal crop growth, as fertilizer is given in a measured quantity, decided by images taken from a drone, also can work at any terrain.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    Pakistan's agricultural yield is not to the ability, which we are capable of, Agricultural yield depends largely on fertilizer feed. Our device will enable exact amount of fertilizer given to crop as decided by the data collected from aerial images. Plus this technology is cheap as developed locally
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   Pakistan's Agricultural sector needs this technology as part of precision agriculture 4.0. To increase the crop yield, which is under-utilized despite Punjab being one of the most fertile lands in the world. Our device will enable the right amount of fertilizer feed, with no wastage and ideal growth
How will the solution works
    Our device consists of a fertilizer storage tank and it feeds fertilizer to the spreader, we have designed a variable rate feeding system that is capable of feeding the fertilizer at different quantities to the crop according to the data given by drone imagery. It is also capable of adjusting the range of fertilizer spreading through varying rpm. It is lightweight and can be carried by a drone. The feeding system can be controlled either by a person through wireless or autonomously by computer
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    We have no competitors in Pakistan as it is new here, especially for drones. All the other foreign companies that have made such kinds of spreaders, are very expensive to import to Pakistan and to implement it on a large scale.
